Luna Pizza is definitely living up to there expectations. I decided to try a different pizza place in the area and I can definitely say I will be back for more. The pizza was very well made, not too crispy and not too doughy. I also ordered some garlic bread with mozzarella, which was a bit more on the crunchy side, but still delicious nonetheless.
Best pizza I've had in Glastonbury so far. Lightning fast delivery within 20 minutes of ordering! I had the White pie with Bacon. They do their White pie differently tham elsewhere with herbs and what not. Definitely a good taste. Chewy crust under the pie with a crisp outer crust. Definitely fresh toppings and REAL bacon! Garlic bread was delicious and crispy. I thought it looked kind of slapped together at first, but the flavor and perfectly toasted bread was great. 100% recommend for a decent pie.
The food was super delicious However service was incredibly slow. All of our food did not come out together, and it took around 45 minutes for any of it to get to our table. Our server was really sweet, but she was pretty much non-existant. It didn't seem particularly busy? Maybe there were some large pick up or delivery orders or something. It was my first time there so maybe that was just a blip. Things do happen. Really really good pizza though. It was worth the wait.
I loved Luna's Pizza since I was a child. The sauce still holds up several decades later. It's arguably the most underrated pizza in the state. It's phenomenal and I highly recommend you check them out.
